Info:
As the first SUV produced by Lincoln, the Navigator has proven successful. Popular among people of many ages, the SUV continues to sell very well, and the redesigned version is certain to continue the trend. Featuring the muscular V8 engine it\’s become famous for, the go-anywhere Navigator is a Tour de Force in the luxury Sport Ute wars. Featuring leather upholstery, in-dash 6-disc CD changer, DVD entertainment system, heated and cooled seating, wood and aluminum trim, power folding seats, and an 8,300 pound towing capacity, the Navigator offers customers a great deal for the money. Navigator is offered in three trim lines, Luxury, Premium, and Ultimate. The Navigator, Lincoln’s first sport utility vehicle (SUV), effectively created the luxury full-size SUV market after its launch in 1997. The segment has grown to more than 80,000 units, and at the end of 2001, Navigator led the market with a 40 percent share. Lincoln’s strategy for the 2003 model year, which marks the Navigator’s first major redesign, is “more of everything.”
